The Institute for Mental Health Professional Standards, Denver CO • 2020

The Institute for Mental Health Professional Standards is an online training platform created for mental health practitioners. Using high-quality video courses, The Institute helps mental health professionals uphold the highest ethical standards in their counseling and therapy practices, providing up-to-date and relevant trainings on various mental health topics.

I worked with the Institute from the start, giving guidance to the board on brand development and best practices, designing and developing their web presence, & creating the course platform.

The first step was to create a solid branding package, achieving a modern, clean, and professional brand identity through strong iconography and thoughtful typography.

After creating a strong brand, we moved on to designing and developing web presence. I designed the initial version of the site in Adobe XD, and after revision and refinements, moved forward with creating the live site.

I designed and developed a bespoke website and course platform to fit the Institute’s needs using WordPress, Elementor, and LearnDash; this included a course library, course landing pages and learning pages, a user dashboard, registration forms, and more.

Ultimately, the goal was to create an easy-to-use learning platform to support mental health professionals in their daily work. The team at The Institute and I believe we accomplished this goal beautifully.
